The media and our larger culture send girls a dangerous message – that their value lies in their youth, beauty, and sexuality, and not in their capacity to lead, let alone in their ability to innovate, create, or inspire.

That’s why this week, The Representation Project is teaming up with Epic Sky to ask young people all over the country to design, innovate, and create your epic truth – as a poem, illustration, or photograph – you name it. Tell us who you are and show us what matters to you. Redefine for yourself, what it means to be YOU, not limited by any stereotype or social construct.

The winner will get their design made into a t-shirt that will be given to all of the attendees of our upcoming #DisruptTheNarrative: Youth Leadership Summit, along with a giftcard from SoulCycle, $150 to spend as they please, and some cool swag!
